ACIR Discusses SBIR Funding Opportunities
ACIR joined with the Texas Foundation for Innovative Communities (TFIC) in a webinar to discuss the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) funding opportunities for early stage technologies. ACIR President Erik Azulay led the discussion and subsequent Q+A session regarding SBIR programs with different agencies in the U.S. Government, including the Departments of Defense, Energy, Agriculture, Transportation, Homeland Security and the National Science Foundation. The TFIC is promoting a more in-depth workshop for innovators on how to apply for and win SBIR grants for developing new technologies. The conference will take place in Austin, Texas on June 12th.
